2 Fast 2 Furious

The second installment in the “Fast and Furious” franchise took the action from Los Angeles to Miami. And the movie’s soundtrack followed suit, with a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic dance music that captured the film’s new setting.

The album reached number five on the Billboard 200 and featured some of the biggest names in music at the time, including 2 Chainz, 8Ball, Chingy, and Dead Prez.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

The third movie in the series took us to Tokyo, Japan, and introduced us to a new generation of street racers. And it’s no surprise that the movie’s soundtrack would feature a mix of Japanese and American hip hop and electronic dance music.

Fast & Furious

The fourth movie in the series brought the franchise back to its roots, with a return to Los Angeles and the underground world of street racing. But with a new cast of characters and a new setting, the movie’s soundtrack also took on a new sound.

Fast Five

Also known as Fast & Furious 5, this movie was a turning point for the franchise as it introduced heist elements to the story. And with this new direction, the movie’s soundtrack also took on a new sound.

The album featured many reggaeton and Latin pop songs, reflecting the movie’s new setting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Furious 7

The seventh movie in the series was released in 2015, following the death of actor Paul Walker. The movie was dedicated to his memory and featured a touching tribute at the end.

The Fate of the Furious

A sequel to Furious 7, this movie continued the story of Dominic Toretto and his crew. And like the previous movie, its soundtrack featured a mix of hip-hop, rock, and electronic dance music.
